File cabinet locks – Change the lock on a file cabinet increases security if you lose your key or lets you access your files if you lose the key. File cabinets use a cam-style lock that is autonomous, socket wrenches and the locking mechanism housing. The arm lock cam pivoted in a slot in the body of the file cabinet. Although less complicated than changing a door lock change a cam lock, you must correctly align the cam lock to ensure adequate participation.
Open the drawer of the file containing or adjacent to the cam file cabinet locks. Slide the end of the screwdriver against the tap positioned at 90 degrees to the side of the display box. Push the tab towards opening to release the locking drawer torpor. Follow the coupling side of the lock cam locking mechanism.
