Wooden File Cabinet Style

Build a wooden file cabinet; Sand all wood parts with 120-grit sandpaper.  Collect box file cabinet. Place a 3/4 by 15 by 15-inch hardwood plywood panel on a work surface. It’s the bottom of the file cabinet. Set a 3/4 of 24 of 15-inch hardwood plywood panel on one side, so that it is perpendicular to the bottom. Apply a bead of wood glue along the edge. Place a second 3/4 of 24 of 15-inch hardwood plywood panels on the opposite side in the same way. Apply a bead of wood glue along the edge. These are the sides of the box file cabinet. Place a third 3/4 of 24 of 15-inch hardwood plywood panels between the other two panels at the rear of the bottom panel and apply a bead of glue to the edge. This is the back of the box file cabinet.

Collect the front face of the box file cabinet. This assembly will fit inside the front edges of file cabinet box assembly. Insert the front as assembly in file cabinet box assembly. The edges of the front face should be flush with the edge of the box file cabinet. Secure the assembly to the box housing by means of a hammer and round-headed finish nails. Space nails every 2-3 inches. Measure up 5 1/4-inches from inside the bottom sides of the box wooden file cabinet. Mark this measurement with a pencil. Collect the top and bottom drawers. Attach drawer slides in the center of the drawer sides using a screw gun and screws.
